A note from us: this policy is a starting template written by the studio, not by a lawyer. Before relying on it, we'll have it reviewed by a qualified professional against the laws of the regions where the game is available.
The short version
- We collect anonymous gameplay analytics — things like levels played, wins, deaths, and session events.
- If you make an in-app purchase, Apple or Google handle the payment — we never see your card or bank details.
- No names, no email addresses, no accounts, no sign-ups.
- No ads, no ad tracking, and no precise location.
- We never sell your data. Ever.
- In the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland we ask before collecting analytics. Everywhere else, you can switch it off anytime in the game's Settings.
1. Who we are
Ludio Games ("we", "us", "our") makes Ranger Blaze, a mobile arcade game for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data we collect through the game and this website (together, our "Services"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It does not cover data practices of other companies whose services you reach through ours — such as Apple, Google, or Unity — each of which has its own privacy policy.
2. What we collect
We keep collection to a minimum. There are three kinds of data involved:
Gameplay analytics
Ranger Blaze collects anonymous gameplay analytics through Unity Gaming Services. "Anonymous" means the data describes what happened in the game, not who you are — we cannot use it to identify you. Examples:
- Which levels are started, completed, or failed
- Wins, losses, and in-game deaths
- Session events, such as when a play session begins and ends
- Basic technical details (device model, operating system version, app version, and country-level region) so we can find crashes and performance problems
Purchase information
Ranger Blaze offers optional in-app purchases. When you buy something, the payment is processed by the app store (Apple's App Store or Google Play) — we never receive your credit card, bank, or billing details. What we do receive is a confirmation of what was bought and when, plus a store-provided transaction identifier. We use that to deliver your item, let you restore past purchases, help you if a purchase goes wrong, and guard against fraudulent or duplicate transactions. Purchases may also appear in our analytics as anonymous, aggregated revenue figures. See section 6, In-app purchases, for more.
Messages you send us
If you email our support team, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message — typically your email address and a description of your problem. We use it only to help you, and we don't add it to any marketing list.
3. What we don't collect
- No names or accounts. The game never asks you to sign up, log in, or tell us who you are.
- No payment details. Card and bank information goes to Apple or Google, never to us.
- No ads or ad tracking. Ranger Blaze shows no third-party ads and uses no advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID).
- No precise location. We don't track where you are — at most, analytics include a country-level region.
- No data sales. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.
4. How we use data
We use the limited data above only to:
- Provide the game and deliver the items you purchase
- Balance and improve the game — see where players get stuck, which levels are too hard or too easy, and where the game crashes
- Let you restore purchases and provide customer support when you ask for it
- Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse
- Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any kind of automated decision-making that affects you.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell your data and we share it only with the small number of providers that help us run the game, plus where the law requires:
- Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies) collects and processes our anonymous analytics as our service provider, on our behalf. See Unity's Privacy Policy.
- Apple and Google operate the app stores that process your purchases and deliver the app. Their handling of your payment and account data is covered by Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if the law requires it (for example, a valid court order), or where necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. If the studio is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, data may be transferred as part of that deal; any new owner would remain bound by a policy at least as protective as this one.
6. In-app purchases
Purchases in Ranger Blaze are optional and are billed through the app store you downloaded the game from:
- The store handles the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- We receive only a confirmation and transaction ID so we can deliver the item, let you restore purchases on a new device, and help with any billing issue.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies — start a refund request through the store you bought from, and contact us if you need a hand.
- Parents can restrict or disable purchases using the built-in parental controls on the device (Apple's Screen Time / Ask to Buy or Google Play's parental controls).
7. International data transfers
Our providers may process data on servers outside your own country — including in the United States. Where the law requires it (for example, for players in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland), such transfers rely on recognized legal safeguards like the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The specifics are described in the privacy policies of Unity, Apple, and Google linked above.
8. This website
The website you're reading now (ludiogames.com) sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers of any kind — it's plain static pages. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) briefly processes visitors' IP addresses in ordinary server logs in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
9. Consent — how it works where you live
- EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland: the game asks for your opt-in consent before any analytics are collected. If you decline, nothing is collected — the game works exactly the same either way. You can change your mind at any time in the game's Settings.
- Everywhere else: analytics are on by default, and you can opt out at any time in the game's Settings.
Consent applies to analytics. Purchase information is processed because it's necessary to complete a purchase you asked for, not on the basis of consent.
10. How to opt out
Open Settings inside Ranger Blaze and switch the Analytics toggle off. From that moment the game stops sending analytics events. You can turn it back on later if you change your mind — the choice is always yours, and it never affects gameplay or purchases you've made.
11. How long we keep data
We keep analytics data only as long as it is useful for balancing and improving the game. Raw event data is deleted or reduced to aggregate statistics (for example, "the average player needs four tries to clear level 12") within 12 months. We keep purchase records for as long as needed to support you and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Retention within Unity, Apple, and Google is also governed by their own schedules.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we handle, and we reduce risk at the source by simply not collecting names, accounts, or payment details in the first place. That said, no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's privacy
Ranger Blaze is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because the game asks no one for names, accounts, or contact details, there is normally nothing identifying to collect. Purchases can be restricted by parents using the device's built-in parental controls (see section 6). If you believe a child has provided us personal information — for example, by emailing support — contact us and we'll delete it.
14. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over personal data — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port it, or to object to or restrict how it's used. An honest caveat: because our analytics are anonymous, we usually cannot link any of it back to you specifically, which also means there is typically nothing identifiable to hand over or delete. What you can always do:
- Stop all future analytics collection instantly via the in-game Settings toggle
- Manage or request deletion of purchase and account data through Apple or Google, who hold it
- Email us with any privacy request or question — we'll do our best to help, and if we hold anything identifiable (such as a support email thread), we'll correct or delete it on request
15. Links to other services
Our game and website may link to services we don't operate — for example the App Store, Google Play, or Unity. We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those services; when you follow such a link, that company's own privacy policy applies.
16. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top. For significant changes we'll also note it inside the game. This page always holds the current version.
